Do you love drawing? Have you ever thought that maybe one day you'd like to be a book illustrator?
Or do you just like creating characters and experimenting with paint?
This course will give you the skills and techniques you need to draw awesome illustrations, maybe even a picture book!

Who is it for?

This course is for middle-grade and teenage students who are enthusiastic about drawing.

What is it about?

Draw Like an Illustrator will teach you the skills you need to construct well-crafted illustrations.

Through storyboarding, drawing and hands on techniques, you will be taken on a guided journey at the end of which are original illustrations you have created from scratch.

Do I have to be able to draw?

No, you just need a real interest in learning to draw better! If you are great at drawing already, this course will build on new skills and take you to the next level.

Materials

Most of the art materials used are supplied.

Anything you create, you take home in a special Draw Like an Illustrator portfolio. All you need to bring is your imagination, a paint-shirt and your pencil case. If you’d like to use a drawing tablet, please bring that too!
